Situated on the eastern slopes of South Africa’s beautiful Bushmans River Valley, Khusela – a privately owned game reserve and villa – is set to open its doors to the public for the first time. The luxury property is available to rent from February and judging by these pictures below it looks stunning.

Originally built as the private residence for a British entrepreneur and his wife, Khusela boasts a stunning five-bedroom villa complete with infinity pool from which guests can enjoy uninterrupted views over the 730 hectare reserve.

Relax alongside some of the world’s most beautiful scenery and enjoy the luxury of having a resident game manager, housekeeper and chef on hand, making for some of the best hospitality available in South Africa.

The Khusela reserve is free from dangerous predators enabling holidaymakers to walk unaccompanied alongside an array of protected species including Black Wildebeest, Oribi and Bontebok, as well as giraffes and zebras.

4×4 game viewing vehicles are available and for those wishing to glimpse the ‘big five’ animals, game drives can be arranged on neighboring reserves. With the Indian Ocean and the sandy beaches of the Sunshine Coast only 15 minutes away, guests can contrast Khusela’s fantastic wildlife with uninterrupted coastal scenery. Khusela will start talking bookings from February 1.
