Weather – What time of year is best to go on holiday to Santorini?
June or September are the best months when the weather is warm and sunny but no too hot like the months of July and August. Obviously those with families need to go in school holidays but beware how hot the island can get in these peak summer months. Mid June is a lovely time to go if you can as the island people are not exhausted by the influx of tourists and you will get better service and prices.
Santorini Towns
If you like the historical sights, then Oia will be right up your street. If you want more glam then try Foira. Imerovigli is more isolated and quiet. Here are some Santorini photos from each town:
