I recently read an article on the UK’s best beaches and it got me thinking that there are some truly amazing beaches this world has to offer, but some of them are more spectacular than others. If you want to have a truly amazing seaside experience, we highly recommend that you take a look at some of the beaches on this list before deciding which one you want to visit.

1. White Bay, Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands

Jost Van Dyke’s White Bay beach has reefs that are very close to the shore, making it an extremely popular destination for those who want to go snorkelling.

The breathtaking view from the shore is well worth the trip no matter where you live. This beach is a great place to go snorkelling and discover the wonders of the coral beneath the waves. Its crystal clear waters are truly an amazing sight to behold.

2. Kailua Beach Park, Oahu, Hawaii

Kailua Beach is located on the Windward Coast, and there is a massive half-mile of glittering warm sand to sink your feet into. Each year millions of people visit Hawaii from places all over the world, and this beach is definitely one of the more popular destinations for tourists.

Cinnamon’s Restaurant, which is located very close to the beach, is also worth checking out when you get hungry.

3. Playa de Las Catedrales, Galicia, Spain

While it may not be your average beach, the sheer idyllic beauty and scenery offered by this beach makes it worth visiting to say the least. This beach is the result of the powerful winds and waves shaping the coastline over many years. With tall cliffs that will overwhelm you just staring at them, this beach is one of the best in the world.

Those who visit this beach in the summer will want to check out Noche de San Juan, which is a festival that celebrates the summer solstice with massive parties along the beach

4. Tetiaroa, Tahiti

Tetiaroa beach in Tahiti was named after the Polynesian word that means “stands apart,” which is very appropriate when you first set eyes on it.

This beach has 13 different coral inlets, which makes it both secluded and incredibly beautiful. This tropical paradise definitely has a lot to offer for anyone who wants a beach experience that will absolutely blow them away.

5. Coast Guard Beach, Massachusetts, USA

While this beach may not be the warmest year round, it does still have a lot to offer when it comes to sheer scenery. The Atlantic water is quite chilly year round, but the stunning sandy dunes and tide pools definitely make up for that.
