It might seem some time away right now, but a lot of us are beginning to cast our eyes towards next year’s vacation plans. A road trip across the States
Why not stay at home next year and see more of this glorious county? It has everything you need, whether you like skiing, deserts, water sports, mountains and so much more. And one of the best ways of seeing everything is by going on a cross-country road trip. Load up your car or motorhome, plan out your stops, and get out there for an up close and personal look at your homeland.
A boat trip up the Chobe River
The Chobe River runs through Botswana’s best National Park. Taking a boat trip along it is just perfect for lovers of adventure and wildlife. The wildlife you will see along the route is breathtaking, and the scenery is equally spectacular.

Trekking across the Arctic
There’s a certain alien charm to the Arctic. Most of us, however, are only aware of it through what we see on our TVs. So, why not check it out for yourself? There are plenty of amazing things you can do in the Arctic, from husky rides to cold water boat trips. And, if you get yourself a pair of Crescent Moon snow shoes, you can even go for some amazing hikes amongst the snow-covered mountains. Wrap up warm, though – despite your exertions, it can get rather cold!
Swim with sharks in Port Lincoln
Australia is a wonderful country, full of amazing things for adventure lovers to do. But, if you do head over there, make sure you take in one of life’s most exhilarating experiences – swimming with sharks. There are plenty of places you can do it on the vast Australian coastlines, but try Port Talbot if you are in that area. It has a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, plenty of great reviews. Biking in Burma
Burma is a wonderful country, full of wonderful people. And one of the best ways of getting around this magnificent country is by bike. There are some incredible landscapes to see, from the Shan Highlands to the Pindaya Caves. There is also an excellent range of hotels, B&Bs and hostels you can stay in, to suit any budget.
