4 Most Popular Bucket List Ideas

Our time on this planet is short and it`s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day routine of life, so much so that we forget to make the most of our lives. This is why creating a bucket list is a great idea. By writing a list of all the things that we want to accomplish during our time here, we can really focus on getting them done, and therefore making our lives more exciting and interesting. A lot of people have very similar bucket list ideas, often including seeing places in the world and conquering a high-adrenaline experience. Here are some of the most popular bucket-list ideas:

Diving

There is something truly magical about the undersea world. Getting up close and personal with nature in such a unique way is, for many people, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There are a number of professional diving schools such as Divemaster Insurance that can take you on a deep sea dive, providing equipment, insurance and anything else that you may need.

Bungee Jumping

Another popular bucket list idea is bungee jumping. The adrenaline rush and sensation of complete freedom that comes with jumping off a platform is not easily matched. Whilst the activity certainly isn't for the faint-hearted, it is safe - as long as you go with a legitimate company with proper equipment, training, insurance and licenses.

The Inca Trail

Machu Picchu is said to be one of the wonders of the world. The ancient city is located on the top of a mountain in the jungles of Peru and is thought to have gone unfound for hundreds of years before it was discovered in 1911. Whilst being impressive in itself, one of the most awe-inspiring ways of approaching Machu Picchu is by completing the Inca Trail. The city was said to have been constructed by the ancient Inca civilization and the Inca Trail follows a path from Cuzco all the way through to Machu Picchu itself in a four day hike. Whilst the trek isn't easy, it is very do-able for anyone with a little fitness and a lot of willpower.

African Safari

For those of us who live in Europe, the only chance that we have of coming face-to-face with an elephant or tiger is in a zoo. An African Safari however, allows you to experience amazing wild animals in their natural habitat. By going on safari with those who have local knowledge, you are much more likely to see some of the animal kingdom’s wonders, as well as other interesting natural sights.

Although it may seem morbid to some, writing a bucket list is a chance to really think about what you want to get out of life and help you to achieve your dreams.
